184 days of meeting the future together

We learn from your passion.

The final curtain closed on 2025 World Exposition, Osaka, Japan (Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai) on October 13th.
Over the 184 days, we had countless encounters with the estimated 1.9 million visitors to the "Future Life Expo: Future City" pavilion *sponsored by Komatsu and Aoki Asunaro Construction.
Our "Underwater Construction of the Future" exhibit introduced how amphibious bulldozers will evolve into the underwater construction robots of tomorrow.
Everyone from children to adults were totally captivated by the interactive experience, reaffirming the vast potential of "Underwater Construction of the Future".
Your passion strengthened our resolve to keep challenging the future, protect the safety of lives everywhere, and build a better future for all. * "Future Life Expo: Future City" pavilion is part of the Future Society Showcase Project for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

The path forward
for underwater
construction robots
will connect the world.

All over the world there are places that truly need underwater construction.
At Komatsu, we are developing underwater construction robots that can be operated remotely from anywhere in the world, even from the safety and comfort of an office.
Making these machines a reality will not only improve disaster prevention and response.
They will also help to mitigate global warming by promoting renewable energy and by creating seaweed beds and tidal flats which in turn build blue carbon ecosystems. We will do it together with people from all over the world and create a society where all can enjoy happier, fulfilling lives.
We will do it not only for our generation, but also for our children, their children, and beyond into the future.
