We hereby express our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives, and extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the floods and landslides near the Nepal-China border.
Komatsu Ltd. (President and CEO: Takuya Imayoshi) will donate JPY 10 million through the Japanese Red Cross Society as disaster relief for those affected by the disaster.
In addition, the Komatsu Group China Social Contribution Foundation will donate RMB 1 million (approximately JPY 23 million) through the Shanghai Charity Foundation, and Komatsu India Private Limited, Komatsu’s local subsidiary in India, will donate INR 2 million (approximately JPY 3.4 million) through the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund of Nepal.
We sincerely pray for the safety and well-being of all those affected and for the swift recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas.
