Komatsu Ltd. (hereafter “Komatsu”) (President and CEO: Takuya Imayoshi) has launched the PC200-11M2 and PC210-11M2 hydraulic excavators for markets including Asia, with phased introduction primarily in emerging markets across the region. By offering the PC200-11M2, designed to deliver enhanced economy for urban civil engineering applications, alongside the versatile PC210-11M2 for a wide range of jobsites, Komatsu will enable customers to select the model best suited to their needs and strengthen its ability to address increasingly diverse market requirements.

PC200-11M2 and PC210-11M2
In recent years, demand in the core-class hydraulic excavator market has expanded, supported by infrastructure development and natural resource projects. At the same time, changes in the competitive environment and increasingly diverse customer needs have heightened the importance of delivering comprehensive value encompassing not only price competitiveness but also product performance and aftermarket support. Customers are also broadening their purchasing criteria beyond the initial machine price to consider total cost of ownership, including fuel efficiency, jobsite suitability, uptime and aftermarket support.
The PC200-11M2 builds on the quality and durability established by its predecessor, the PC200-10M0, and is the second model in Komatsu's CE (Civil Engineering) Series, which is optimized for urban civil engineering applications with enhanced economy. With 6% lower fuel consumption than the PC200-10M0 in 90° dump truck loading operations and improved operator comfort, the PC200-11M2 helps customers reduce costs and maintain stable machine operation in routine civil engineering work.
The PC210-11M2 combines powerful performance with fuel-saving technologies to deliver both high productivity and economy. Designed for a broad range of applications, including civil engineering, quarrying and mining support, the model is well suited to more demanding jobsites and enables customers to choose the machine that best matches their operating conditions.
Both models feature safety equipment designed to protect operators, a comfortable cab environment, functions that enhance maintainability, and machine operation management through KOMTRAX. Through its distributors, Komatsu will offer machines and support tailored to specific jobsite needs by combining service contracts, extended warranties, genuine parts, operator training and other services.
