Komatsu Ltd. (hereafter “Komatsu”) (President and CEO: Takuya Imayoshi) has begun sales of the PC75-10M0, a 7-ton-class hydraulic excavator for Southeast Asian markets, developed and manufactured by Komatsu India Private Limited (Head Office: Chennai, India; hereafter “KIPL”), Komatsu's subsidiary in India. This model is being introduced sequentially across Southeast Asian countries beginning in the second quarter of FY2026.
PC75-10M0 7-ton-class hydraulic excavator
The PC75-10M0 is the first hydraulic excavator developed under KIPL's leadership. The model was developed by leveraging development, production and procurement capabilities in India and has been tailored to the needs of Southeast Asian markets. Komatsu is strengthening its framework to provide products that meet local customer needs in a timely and responsive manner, and this model was developed as part of that initiative.
Across Southeast Asia, continued urbanization and infrastructure development are expanding opportunities to use 7-ton-class hydraulic excavators in road construction, land development, agriculture, forestry, rental and other applications. Customers are also placing greater emphasis on total cost of ownership, including fuel efficiency, ease of maintenance, transportation costs and machine uptime, in addition to work performance.
To address these needs, the PC75-10M0 was developed in parallel with the PC81-10M0 for India. As the third model in Komatsu's CE (Civil Engineering) Series, which is optimized for regional applications with enhanced economy, the PC75-10M0 builds on the reliability of its predecessor, the PC71-7, while improving work performance, economy, comfort and maintainability. A new engine, optimized hydraulic system and work equipment, newly designed cab and 7-inch color monitor deliver the practicality and ease of operation required at jobsites across Southeast Asia. The model also balances performance, quality and cost competitiveness to suit regional characteristics, applications and operating environments.

Main features
1. Enhanced engine and hydraulic system for improved performance and fuel efficiency
The model is equipped with a new engine and delivers higher engine output in the main specification offered for Southeast Asia. Optimization of the hydraulic system and work equipment contributes to more efficient digging and loading than the previous model, while fuel-conscious engine control helps reduce day-to-day operating costs.
2. Work equipment for a wide range of jobsites
The maximum applicable bucket capacity is 0.35 m³. A 3.71 m boom and 1.65 m arm provide a maximum digging height of 7,040 mm and a maximum digging reach of 6,350 mm. Depending on the country, region and application, the model can be configured with a blade, attachment piping, wide shoes, a long arm and other equipment for construction, agriculture, forestry, rental and other uses.
3. New cab for improved comfort and operability
A new cab design and Komatsu's latest visual identity (VI) decals refresh the exterior. Depending on the specification, the operator area is available with a throttle dial, console, air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, USB port and 24 V power supply. The easy-to-use interior layout is designed to enhance comfort and reduce operator fatigue during long hours of work.
4. 7-inch color monitor for easy machine-status checks
The newly adopted 7-inch color monitor makes machine information and other displays easier to read. Its highly visible screen helps operators check machine status and supports improved operability and more efficient daily inspections.
5. Easy daily inspection and maintenance, with enhanced safety considerations
Improved access to the fuel and oil filters facilitates daily inspection and maintenance. A battery disconnect switch allows the power supply to be isolated during servicing, supporting safe and reliable maintenance work. Safety equipment such as a ROPS cab is available depending on the specification.
