(No change from our announcement made on January 5)

2. Impact on production:
Komatsu Group's production bases (Awazu Plant, Kanazawa Plant, Himi Plant, and Komatsu NTC Ltd.) have not sustained any major damage, and the current status is as follows:

(1) Although some facilities and processes are still undergoing inspections and repairs, Komatsu NTC Ltd. started production on January 5 (Friday), Awazu Plant, Kanazawa Plant and Himi Plant resumed production on January 8 (Monday), after thorough safety and quality inspection.
(2) We have confirmed that several of our suppliers have been affected by the disaster, and we will continue to support their recovery by dispatching security and maintenance personnel, and other means.
